Recently India’s space agency launched the IRNSS-1A from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in southeast India. It was a proud moment for their citizens, as the photograph below shows:
The orbital satellite is as a sort of GPS tracker for the Indian subcontinent and has since proven successful—space agencies around the world have been receiving its signals.
