Designed around dual Venus Engine-powered, 12MP MOS imaging sensors, this nifty pocket cam is capable of recording your choice of 8MP stills and 1920 x 1080 @ 60i HD video in 3D simultaneously, or 12MP stills and 1920 x 1080 @ 60i HD video in 2D simultaneously. For those seeking extreme flexibility when shooting stills, the Lumix DMC-3D1 can also capture stills or video at different focal lengths at the same time, i.e., wide views and tight shots of the same scene, which enables interesting options for single camera video shooters.
