I keep a couple of similar products (of different sizes) stashed away in my lighting bag which are typically used for outdoor macro shots. Using the pop-up flash controller on a tripod-mounted 7D II (or the ST-E2 mounted on the 5D III), I can simply hold the off-camera flash with a small softbox attached with one hand and fire the camera with the other.
